It would have been houses in the way no matter how hard I tried, so I decided to line up the nicer looking house with the cloud in the background. If I took the time to get on the outside of town, the view would have been gone since it didn't last long. I've seen this kind of sunset before, and it doesn't happen very often. The last pics I took are these two:

I find it hard to get these kinds of pictures in big cities, too, cause there's so much around you. You live in a small city and you can get on the outskirts in 10-15 minutes. But really, you just have to look harder, there are some nice sunsets in Sweden:

lmao yeah I would probably take me hours to get to the outskirt of the city I currently live. but on the other side we do have some nice churches and cool buildings and statues here not to mention tourists and weird people laugh.gif

yeah I love the photos you took of Sweden! especially because you took them with your old point and shoot camera. imagine if you had a DSLR the pics would be even more incredibly beautiful wink.gif

Lol. You have a good composition, except it's a little blurry. You like blurry pics I think. Haha. I did post process mine a little too, adding in some clouds instead of boring blue sky.

Well all I change when using the SLR is my ISO and shutter speed. Sometimes I get lazy and switch it so I only have to change the ISO or whatever. It's all personal preference. The more you use the cam the more you'll get used to it. At first I was like: Omg, this camera is insane I'm never going to understand it and get nice pictures. I've improved from my first experiences with it, it just takes time.

yeah lmao thats how I felt as well when I first held my new camera in my hands. I mean there are like a million buttons and settings to learn and remember lol
but after couple of days I kinda got used to it. hmm lmao usually I only change ISO, shutter speed and white balance. It's still kinda weird that some of my pics are blurry though lol maybe blur just likes me :@
