If you fixed the focus, I'd definitely like the black and white better.

Too many colors in the bottom one. Makes it seem less intriguing, nothing pops. It's also not the same angle as the black and white, and I think that's part of what helps the black and white image so much.

#1 is better, but might need a bit of a crop to isolate the subject, maybe show the highlights/whites a bit more to show detail on the pen handle.

nice pen though.

the bottom one looks like the pen is bent.. that's all i personally notice besides the focus and white balance.

Coloroed one doesn't feel all that natural to me

the pen in the colour photo does look bent and it just seems odd
in both of them the pen tip is not lined up with the in droplet imo
