WELCOME TO THE PHOTO CONTEST!!!

Rules & photo theme:

1. The photo must be taken recently to encourage you all to pick up your cameras! I will accept photos taken within a month or so. I don't really care, just have some fun with it and play fair.
2. Post your photo in this thread for submission
3. There is no prize, this is for fun.
4. Lessen the photoshop editing, to make it fair/fun for everyone else. Not saying to not use it, but don’t be excessive!

Each photo contest will run 14 days, but lately I've been making them longer. The entry thread will open on Sunday night and close one Sunday night. Sunday night the voting thread will open and will close the following Sunday night, or sooner if there are few entries. At that time a winner will be chosen by who received the most votes. The winner will be notified via PM or by post in voting thread. New thread might take a few days to be put up, but that's okay. I will then extend the due date because of that. And you can use photos, if fits the theme, that were taken a little before (like a month or something).

So let’s get it on!

Closes: August 19

Theme: Long Exposure

And if you like, I wouldn't mind you posting your next theme idea with your photo! Cause if you win, I know what theme you chose, and I can make the topic sooner

It's not "long" exposure, but this is what I have to offer. :)
Theme - Landscape

May I suggest that we include The EXIF datas along our photos?

Do you mean like.. no exif - no entry?

I know some people are not honest, but I was hoping that the majority would be honest, and I would be able to run a maintenance free photo contest.

I find it very time consuming to check EXIF data - and then contact the person to tell them to re-upload with EXIF. If I was going to do that, What I would say: if you post a photo without EXIF data, you're entry does not get submitted. If the person re-uploads within the contest time frame, that would be fine with me, but I am not going around chasing people for this.

that's no problem, it was just a suggestion :) Anyway, you can see when it's a long exposure or not!

Ahh - yeah. That is true! I would do it if I had more time, it's just priorities in life take over, lol

I can see it with Opera, too, I forgot about that feature on that browser. :)
