2 up close pics of my new favorite flower the chicory
and one pic of someone whom i hired to run an auger so i may pour concrete.
reduced in size because they are huge... also photobucket reduces the size anyway because of data size.

the aperture is stuck at 2.8 so the dof is shallow on the closeups. :(

chicory in daylight

chicory in overcast

bobcat with auger

the new iPad took these pics

Don't use Photobucket. Since they compress the images, they also lose quality.

www.minus.com

Great site. The only downside is they have a 10gb limit, but it's worth it, and if you end up hitting that max, you can just make a second account, but I always resize before uploading since most sites require it anyways. So, hitting 10gb would probably take awhile.

The camera in iPad2 is pretty pathetic much worse than iPhone 4 and 4S

The camera in iPad3 is the same as in iPhone 4S with a fixed aperture of f2.4 but I can still not imagine it being able to produce decent images simply because of the extremely tiny sensor

Is it even possible to get any kind of background blur with that thing? or did you use software to create background blur?

the problem with phone cameras is that they don't have much room to put neither a large sensor nor a decent lens in them and both of them are required to produce high quality images. Currently only the Nokia 808 has an amazingly large sensor much larger than most compact cameras but from what I have read the reason for that is because to give it the ability to crop images ie digital zoom which is also why the extremely high resolution of 40 mega pixel. I hope one day they will integrate phones into cameras rather than the other way around. The new Canon EOS M camera with it's high res touch screen would be a perfect candidate for such a smart phone :D
