I'm looking into getting a canon 7d with a standard kit then ordering a 24-105 ef lens as well.

I'm wondering the best/safest/most reliable place to order these froms

that ryther place seems very cheap but I've never heard of it?

thoughts or opinions are appreciated.

I ordered my DSLR from Amazon. Definitely safe, cheap, and reliable. Someone might know a better place though.

This one's the body and 18-135mm lens: http://www.amazon.com/Canon-Digital-18-135mm-3-5-5-6-Standard/dp/B003BM7X6I/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1343525771&sr=8-3&keywords=canon+7d

And this one comes with the 28-135mm lens: http://www.amazon.com/Canon-Digital-28-135mm-3-5-5-6-Standard/dp/B002NEGTU6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1343525771&sr=8-2&keywords=canon+7d

Why bother wasting money on a kit lens when the 24-105 is better and covers pretty much that entire range?

Get just the body, then get the 24-105. Skip the kit crap.

Or better yet, get the 24-70 :P

I am starting with a 2,000 dollar allowance.
So the 24-70/105 is out of the question at first.

if u r not trying to go pro and just want some nice pictures I would actually just buy a cheaper house (maybe used) and then spend more on a better lense...
