Hi guys, I've been into photography for almost 2 years with a Canon T1i, and I want to upgrade something. So here's my question, should I buy a 5D Mark II (not III, too expensive) and sell my current gear or buy some L lenses? The thing is, I don't have a lot of money and if I choose to buy a new body, I will be stuck* with my 50mm f/1.8 until I have enough money to buy something like 24-70mm L or 24-105mm L.

*Don't get me wrong, the 50mm f/1.8 II is an amazing lens for the prize!

would certainly recommend the 24-70 f2.8
the 24-105 is a great lens tho, especially for a general walkabout lens

i love my 70-200 2.8L is more than my mark2, that lens is absolutely fantastic

I was browsing craigslist and I found this. ( http://montreal.fr.craigslist.ca/pho/3094698831.html ) At first I thought the body and/or lens could be dommaged or whatever but I emailed the guy anyway and he sent me some pictures that looked pretty neat. So I'm planning on actually going to see the camera, but first, what should I ask him? I'm not very familiar with used equipements and I'd prefere not to get scam. And also, why do you think his price is that low..? Is there any obvious reason? Maybe he stole it...? Aaaaanyway, Thanks guys!

My advice, use borrowlenses.com, test out both of them and figure out which one you want more.

I've used both the 70-200 2.8 II and the 5dmii through that website and I now want a 70-200 much more than an upgraded body.
