I do not care about extra lenses at first, but for the price I must be able to start taking pictures/videos right then.

I will be spending 1,000-2,000 USD on this.

I want to be able to shoot HD video and very high quality pictures.
I want to be able to shoot continuous shots since a lot of my friends ride BMX and Skateboard.

Those are really the only things I care about, I also like to do a lot of low shutter speed works where the main picture is solid, but the colors and lights behind spin around and blur?
If that makes sense

but uhhh, yeah I am buying this in a few months but, I figured I will start getting an idea of good cameras now.

Thanks!

If you really wanna focus on video/action, you should check out the sony dslr's. Specifically the A77 and A65. They have a translucent mirror which allows video to focus much quicker than canon/nikon's. They also have super fast FPS's for sports photography.

Will check them out and keep them in mind.
Thank you

also if I may ask, what is the main differences between the 65 and 77
I am looking and they don't seem to be too big?
I will never be professional so I do not need super pro stuff ya know?

I know some languages read right-to-left and some read top-to-bottom, but why center English with a jagged left edge? It doesn't really make any sense to annoy people when you're requesting something.

Make sure you pick with a brand that you will stick with through the years, because you will keep the same lenses for a while but will change bodies every so often. I would suggest the Mark II since the the Mark III is to release soon and you will have more money to spend on lenses. Honestly I would just buy a camera body and a 50 prime lens and a lens with a good Fstop and variable zoom. (The stock lenses are not that good.)

Yeah I planned on this ofc, I just always shot Canons and I wasn't really impressed with the lower end ones.
I really like that sony a77 up there.

yeah, and attach DVD to it, maybe you'll get game console from it too :P ... most essential part of photography is lenses, body is just body, lenses remains even when you change body and i dont trust any company, which wasn't producing cameras for at least 20 years ... and about canon, you probably mean low end lenses, not cameras since low end canon camera with high end lenses is much better choice than high end camera with low end lenses

For price lower than (not)camera alpha you'll get this:

Canon 7D - $1,550.- http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/646908-REG/Canon_3814B004_EOS_7D_SLR_Digital.html
Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM - $390.- - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/585955-GREY/Canon_CA2813535IS_EF_28_135mm_f_3_5_5_6_IS.html

these lenses are not really high end, but are considerably good, see review here: http://www.kenrockwell.com/canon/lenses/28-135mm.htm
