you won't really be able to customize much, i would say just save you 100$ and put it toward a dslr when u get ur tax return

I am to lazy to look but I am guessing the Nikon L105 is a point and shoot camera.
A dslr is a pro camera to where you can have my options on how you want things done, dskr are alot more expensive then the Nikon L105 depending on what you get but is your best bet if you want to start in photography.
With a dslr you can use many different types of lenses, flashes, stands, and more.
