In august this year I sold my Nikon d7000 and bought a 5d mk II.

Overall IQ had no dramatic change. But the one thing that does it all is the colors out of camera. Even after editing I could hardly get the same incredible results with nikon as I do with my canon straight out of camera.
There's no way I'll switch my 24-70 L for anything else then another L lens!

Just my 2 cents.

:)

The only thing nikon really has over canon is the ergonomics and build quality.

dood i don't get any benefit from Canon for promoting it. This is exactly what I've been saying over and over and over. Now that some else says it, it becomes credible? That's bullshit.

arent you disappointed with the AF, especially the AF points (or the lack thereof)?

A little yes. The only decent AF point is the middle one. But after working around that I get way better end results then I did with my old d7000.
