#1, the dog is grey, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be wihte?
#2, the dog is white, looks better, but the contrast is way too high imo, tune it down and make sure that the dog still is white. Maybe increase brightness instead?

I´m much more interested in what that is on the top right corner. Looks like a giant shoe.

Well the dog has been many colors but you make a valid point, going for a middle way would make most sense tho I do like overdoing contrast :p

Look, I know overall editing is easy and fun, but maybe take into account
the possibility of selectively altering your image.

The dog does look to subtle in the first picture, but the second picture is overall too contrasted.

Based on those two statements, maybe you should try selectively altering the tones on the dog, and keeping the subtlety of the background.
