I'm thinking..

24-70 2.8
24-105 4
70-200 2.8

Should I even bother getting the 24-105? There's that extra f stop, but I could always just shoot up a step in ISO..

Or, should I just stick to primes?

135 prime.

Why so? I think I might get the 24-105 or a 28-105 first. I really could use the wider angle and zoom for sports.

Even for side line sports photography? Suggest a prime for football that doesn't cost a fortune.. I usually shoot with a 70-200 or a 28-200.. I guess that 135 would be amazing actually for that, with that f2..

70-200 is just so sexy, it's the only zoom i'd ever consider using, primes>

Definitely go for the lower f stop ones if you have the extra dough $$. :) I want to get a 24-70 eventually, would be so awesome. It might be my next purchase, in the far future.

I still haven't had the chance to shoot with it. With sports photography I was more interested in getting a new lens or two before spring sports start up.

I've also been more interested in shooting 35mm and possibly a bit more medium format, I've managed to find myself a darkroom and a teacher to come help me learn to develop.

We don't have the plates to do anything larger than 5x5cm negatives, I think. Which sucks, I'm going to have to crop all my shots if I shoot with my Mamiya.

Indeed, I've been using a 70-200 f4 for the past few months and it's nice, I want to get a 2.8 for myself though.

Sadly I don't have the extra dough! Haha.. I'm going to shoot some indoor soccer over the next month and a half and hopefully get a bit of extra cash.
