thought i would start a topic where i can put all my city pics etc, so u can see what a tough life it is over here :D

we have had very hazy days lately, so the pics have not come out anywhere near good enough, so i have not even ps'd any of them
that said i still want your opinions on how i can improve next time

the famous Burj Al Arab on the left, and Mina Al Salam on the right
my aperture here was way too open (but i had to sneak the pics as you are not allowed to use "pro" cameras here)

Palm Jumeirah and the Atantis hotel (copy of the Atlantis in the Bahamas)

hope u like them, more of dubai to follow

I'm not sure i'm too fond of the first shot.. the rather "cold" purplish tone of the Burj Al Arab with the "warm" Mina Al Salam clash in the photo.

As for the second shot, i really like the lights in the horizon and the framing, but there are some serious.. and i meant serious distortions in the photo.

Very neat place. Wow you can't take any professional photos there at all? Or only in certain places?

Thanks for sharing the photos, looking forward to a lot more!

You can also have lovely shots at Burj Al Arab on an aerial view where you can take photos of the sea also.
