low light for a start,
wheres your focus point? do you want the screen to be clear? then the background will be less clear, it looks like your camera has focus on the background.

as your camera is actually a camcorder it will have lower workable iso levels than a normal camera, therefore at low light levels it will not be great for still pictures

hmmm very well explained :) .. I just bought this camera today, and actually this was the first picture I shot, just got scared when uploaded and realized it was this bad :huh:


do u think theres anything i can do like on the camera setup or something, that i can change to get better quality pictures? or its all in the lightning and camera performance ?

its a video cam as qwnwy said, therefore it´s supposed to be good at taking videos, and the inevitable outcome of that is that it´ll most likely pretty much suck at photos. I experienced this with alot of camcorders. if you want to shoot photographs you should get a photo camera, not a camcorder.
