I was taking photos because I felt inclined to and I see this beauty:

there was a very light gray wall behind the spider in this one

I can't figure out what's wrong with this photo but I feel something is off...

This one was as close as I could get from above where I first saw the spider to begin with. I love the web

I'm trying to think of how to crop some of these to make them better but it was so hard to get close enough and that thing was really really big. It was in between a concrete wall and a wall of trimmed and tamed bushes in a space about a foot and a half wide. I don't know how to fix them if they do indeed need fixing. I'd really really appreciate the help on these please?

Thank you guys =)

excluding the first, add yellow to your white balance to make them look better. Shadowed areas produce a blueish tone that really hinders the magnificence of the colors present in nature.

Nice specimen!!
If you are limited with the space, take the spider in your hands, put it wherever you want to take pictures of it, then put it back in its web ;)
But be careful not to lose it, cause a scared spider can run very fast!!!

Ok I love spiders but I don't think I have the heart to pick them up and move them Marie! I'd probably be so clumsy I'd get bitten and he'd run off, not a good combination lol

Besides, he has a beautiful web =)

I assume you had no macro lense? It looks a little like you had to take more distance because of the lense, though the first is pretty nice! Could use a little sharpening maybe

Are you crazy woman!?

Maybe it's just me, but I'm terrified of spiders and wouldnt even go near that one.

Great pictures though :)

Actually I had to try my best to get closer to get it framed the way I wanted but I couldn't do it from some angles and no, I only have my kit lens =(

Thank you for the comment! I don't really know anything about editing my photos but I'll look into it thank you!
