Im looking for a camera to start into Photography, i've found i really like it, and im willing to work on it.

What brand?
Cannon Vs nikon etc.


Also i was told the Nikon 40d, or 50d is a good choice to start with.

You can't compare the 2 most popular brands asking people to tell you which one.
Both are good.

I grabbed a Nikon D3000, it's the perfect price for a beginner!

Not sure tho, not to sure if i should buy another lens or so, if so which one and how do i even choose!
Im a complete new comer to DSLR cameras. I just got intrigued by photos, and photography recently i cant stop thinking about it now xD

I'd suggest you go to a store and try them out yourself. I didn't like the positions of the dials and buttons on the Nikon so that was one of the factors that led in my buying a Canon

I have the standard 18-55mm lens it comes with, I'd say work with that until you figure out what you want to Photograph.

I wish I had done something similar to this, I regret not. I ended up just buying nearly the cheapest DSLR around that I could find on eebay and throwing down $600 for it. It worked for some time and then I sorely regretted not starting on a Canon, so now I'm basically trying to learn everything all over again with another camera, everything is so much different.

I have a d3000 and it is a good starter camera for sure but whether you'll like it or not depends on what you plan to photograph. I love my camera but it definitely has its limitations that I try to work around
