I just got my first camera at the beginning of the summer and I've been trying to find my "scene" of photography, at the moment I'm experimenting with different things trying to find out what I like to and what I can shoot the best. Of course even if I do manage to find my err.. "scene" I won't just limit myself to that, I want to be a well rounded Photographer.

I got bored one day and decided to cut up a Banana !
[Figured I would show the picture that got most people's attention]



I know the letters are a bit misshapen but I tried my best!

This isn't a thread to boast or anything Negative, just saying Hello and trying to introduce myself to the section!

Could have had bit more focus on the banana though. or maybe it's my eyes that are out of focus.

Odds are it was my lens! I did a major no no and tried to rush the shot because I had to be ready in 10 minutes to go, and I smelled like bananas!
Also using a 18-55mm lens that came with my camera, a JapanCamera has a good lens on sale for $200 but I don't have the money and it will be $400 in another week or so! D:

when I read nova scotia I confused it with nova zembla which is an island near the Russian north pole.. and I don't think there live any people there haha.
