Lat one is very good imo :)
She looks natural, relaxed and happy!
And I also have this thing for black and white portraits, cause the background don't get too distracting maybe...
Number 3 is also good, but my eyes keep going to that spiky star on the upper right of the picture...

Too hard on the filters dude, it makes her skin tones really unflattering.

what? her skin doesn't look orange at all to me..she is actually rather pale. the second photo is a little intense and i hesitated processing it that way but something about it drew me in. others love it also and i am not just making it up.

Her skin is very green in the first one, and the second is overdone imo. But if thats what they like then that's what they like.

What are they like out of the camera?

Im sure youll think Im being "mean" or whatever, but Im just wondering why you posted here if you dont want cnc? You asked what people think, then when they tell you you sit and fight them on it.

If you want to improve you need to take criticism. I agree with lithfkn, she looks really washed out, almost zombie like. And be careful when youre shooting in a really sunny environment, like in 1, you have to adjust your settings or..well, itll look overexposed.

As far as the filters..sometimes natural is better. In my honest opinion you rely too much on them.

i have no problem showing you all the orginals or ones very similar as i think i may not have the originals now that i think of it.
i can see what you guys are saying. i actually like my photos a little "over-exposed" sometimes. the people i'm taking photos of never have a problem with it either.
also, she is extremely pale, like white as paper pale.

hold on i am going to search for sooc shots from today

also, it's not that i rely on filters or editing, it's that i prefer them that way.
the photos i take are just fine with no editing, i just am not too fond of plain for lack of a better word photos.

unfortunately i don't have the originals, i really do need to start saving a new copy instead of saving over.
and i'm not kidding when i say she's really pale.
