I was playing also with the XSI but it didnt have that feature and I really like the feature.
Yes the Canon xsi has that feature
I have that camera and use that feature so often!!!

There is a way to only have one single focus point. On your camera you'll see a button that looks like a snowflake, or it might have two magnifying glasses by it as well. On my camera it's on the right side where I hold it, and I use my thumbs to press the buttons. There are two buttons there. To change my focus point thing, I Press the button on the end of the camera (the one that has the magnifying glass with a plus sign). And then I click the OK button to get just one point, and then you can use the arrows to move around and select one you want. Once done, press the magnifying glass button again.
