I took a lot of pictures when I was on vacations, but they are all on my lap top and hard to see which are good and what not, cause of the screen...

I went to the mountain with the kids on Saturday and put the pictures on my desk top which has a nice monitor

I am really happy with my new camera, but I find it hard to get a real nice sharp crisp focus point...
Got some practice with the first flowers of Spring..
Feel free to comment and let me know also how I could improve them with some editing or whatever..

Oh and also very imiportant:
There is a contest this year: local (indigène) flowers and trees
So I'll be taking many pictures of flowers this summer and will bug you all to help me choose my best

2 and last ones are my most liked. Reason for #2 is the darkest part of the pic in contrast with the whiteness of the flowers. #4 it's the contrast, the "pop" of the flower against the earthen background. Well done!

The third one is best in my eye! The blur and where you focused is great. And not to mention the colors go well! I like the first one because the red is so rich, and you see so much detail in the flower pedals in that one. Pretty cool Marie, these are getting better!

Number 2 is a nice shot. Most flower shots have been done thousands of times and get pretty boring.

I never get bored of taking pictures of flowers..
I love them as they are so beautiful!
And I do my best to try to shoot them from every angle...
