I sold my old car... finally this morning... for 800$

Use part of the money and bought a new..... CAMERA!!!!!!!

YES!!
Finally!!!

Now I am the proud owner of a new (used) Canon Rebel EOS XSi for 500$ including the basic lens, a grip and 2 extra batteries!!!!

I can't take pictures with it yet cause I need to buy a card... will have to do this before I leave for my vacations on Saturday...

First thing I checked is now to take macro pictures...
Seems complicated and I may have to look at a macro lens eventually....

I seems all much more complicated than my little point and shoot!!!!
But I'm so looking forward to try it out!!!

I am sooo happy!!!!!

taking macro shots with a DSLR is easier than point n shooters. heck, using DSLRs is a million times easier once you get used to it. It takes me ages to learn to use point n shooters.

Congrats!! Same camera i use

the macro on p&s are automatic.

for dslr you have to take the aperture into consideration.
unless youre speaking about the "close up" automatic settings on dslrs.
