got me a Sony DSC-S2100. took some test photos of my dog. here it is. im a noob at this so take it easy. not to bad for a point and shoot for $115 if u ask me

Congratulations at your brand new camera! I like the first shot, because the dog is in such a motion and it looks like lots of fun!
The rest, not so much.. Now you should learn some basics, try getting down, so the camera is on the same level as the subject.
Also, you'd need to crop these a bit, nobody likes pictures that stretches the web browser..

i was on my knees for the first and last shots. hes only 6 months so hes pretty tiny atm. if i get down knee level while he is sitting. thats my gesture to come to me. so ya i wouldnt have gotten him to sit still for to long for the other 2.

i think the 1st and third are nice shots. couldve used the rule of 3rd for second ofc. this would help a lot i think.
its not so much the gear as it is the perspective and the lighting!
haha and agree with his last comment. makes it easier to look at and more appealing to the eye :)

hes actually a german shorthair. i get choco lab a lot though so no worries :) very fun dog.
