First time I was messing with panorama views. are there any recognizable important mistakes in the second? I wanna get it printed for our entrance.

Top right of the ceiling looks terrible. The colour cast is ugly. The parallel lines on the windows/walls are all out of whack. Lack of contrast. Lack of mood. Table on the right is crooked. Something is happening on the front left leg of the pool table. A poor merge I think.

How wide were you going with each shot? And how much were you over lapping each shot?

Sorry if it's harsh but criticism like this will help you pick up on things and you will shoot it better. A good attention to detail is important and it's what makes us better photographers :)

You don't necessarily need a big panorama... try detail shots. Nicely lit little shots of a glass and a bottle of whiskey. A candle lit table. etc etc

well I know I really rushed it so I didnt really pay attention to the details. its meant to be showing the whole back room so detail shots would really make alot of sense in that case.

Oh wow, on second look I really noticed it. Gotta agree with lithfkn about the lines, they are way out of whack. I want to get into pano shots as well, I myself have never done one.

yap. the main prob was that the perspectives of the different shots weren´t identic. that means I could really stitch them together too well because they didnt really fit. I dont really know how that works in such close up situations.
Question is if it would be recognizable for passing by people on a not too big print version. I need to know if I need to retake the photos again and try to stitch them right or if it´d serve for the purpose.

Personally I'd retake the shot. From the one shot alone you've learned at least some things. Didn't you use a tripod? I'm not understanding how else you'd get different perspectives. But I'm sure retaking the shot will get you a much better result.

hmmmm yeah I was wondering the same. I used a tripod but somehow the last 2 shots didnt fit anymore. I started from the left of the room and went on to the right. the third shot that was overlapping the second and which included the pool table didnt fit anymore. same with the last shot. I dont really get why that happened tho.
