I just got a Nikon Coolpix S203 for christmas, brand new, I took about 50+ pictures so far and all of them are terrible, they're blurry, have white dots etc. I've tried different settings, mostly the default auto settings. Any ideas on what I should try before I resort to returning it?

I can upload examples of the best pictures its been able to take, they are horrid.

yeah do it a few samples should help us diagnose the problem

post so samples, try some of the other settings, check the menu settings as well.

or maybe youre just too shaky.

Looks like the focus system is "broken"! The shutter speed is 1/30! Wow. Go to the shop and make them look at it.

or just tell them to exchange it!
