It is a 450/xsi with the cheap 50mm 1,8 at 2,2. I wish I made it 3,5 or so since the low DOF.

Yeah I guess the water is supposed to be in focus, just a slight fail there, but to get it all or so you should probably go even higher then 3,5, I'm no pro yet though, since all I have atm is my 18-55 :P
Nikon though ;p

Nah, the little stone at the left should be in focus. ;)
You still have an opinion and it counts, even if you have the kit lens or the pro gear!

Haha. Nikon... Baaah. Just kitting. :D

Aah I see, the stone would have been better placed more to the right - since now it's pretty "deep" in the picture if you get what I mean.
Of course I can have an opinion - but it's more of a guess then an opinion that you'd need to go more then one aparture step up.
Well, Nikon and Canon are supposed to be rivals I know, but I do see advantages in both systems :P
I'm concidering a 50mm / 1.4 btw, 50mm = kickass focal length :P

Yeah, but it was in a bunch of water and I did not want to move it. (I do not move my subjects anyway).
Both brands are good, I was just joking.

The 50mm 1,4 is great. But you still get like 50 x 1,6, since the cropfactor on the small-sensor body.
