So I had a really bad few days at the beginning of last week. Had a bunch of personal issues I was trying to deal with. Things got so bad that I decided to just pack up and drive away for the remainder of the week. Threw some clothes in a bag, grabbed my camera, threw my dogs stuff in the Expedition and we were off. Drove for about four hours and ended up staying in my family's cabin. Very peaceful up there, easy to forget about life's little issues. The beautiful weather also helped haha... Anyway here are some snaps, nothing amazing, just proof of where I've been. Enjoy.

1. On my drive down, I looked through my window and saw this. Beautiful natural light on this little mountain peak. Thought it was amazing so I pulled over. Its a damn shame the photo doesn't do this shot justice. It was so much more gorgeous to witness.

2. For some reason I snapped the road where I pulled over. Signs, signs, everywhere are signs. Etc...

3. From where I pulled over, on the opposite side of the mountain, I waited a few minutes to witness this sunset.

4. After spending the night at the cabin, I decided to head to Zions National Park with my cousin who lives in the area.

5. Zions National Park, Silhouette play...

6. Zions National Park, more silhouette play...

7. Zions National Park, Towering rock walls.

8. Sandstone Study, Zions.

9. Does this look like a dog's head to anyone else? Zions.

10. Cactus Study, Zions.

More coming...

11. Red Leaf Study, Zions. I'm pissed about this one. Auto focus fail. Everyone I'm sure would agree the focus should be on the front of the leaf. Meh oh well.

12. Trail Markers, Zions. You know I never really understand these.

13. Back to the cabin. This is my favorite place up by my cabin. This awesome truck was abandoned here. I think this truck is sooooo awesome. I had a photo assignment to take at least 18 different exposures of the same object, yeah I used the truck. ^^

14. More of my truck. From the front.

15. More of my truck. Emblem.

16. More of my truck. Meh.

17. Relax. Here I am at peace.

18. View from the truck.

19. Another view from the truck.

The first shot is the best imo :)

You have actually used the light to saturate the landscape. Nice shot.
