chicago international airport.

my skyview.

sorry about the photos, there wasnt any natural lighting at all, the day i shot those it was dark and cloudly and rained.

Helsinki zoo.

Oulu, Finland.
one of the best places ive ever been to, the windmills were huge, and it was so calm when i put on my ipod, listening to music and watching the sight.

I really like the 4th picture!
I think the contrast between the soft green and the red really makes the subject stick out :)

Those windmills are huge!
Too bad they seem to be in the middle of a dump :(

They are VERY huge indeed, bigger than one might imagine from the distance .
One looks so small if one stands at the bottom of such a giant!!!

We have lots of them in so called "windmill fields" in our area for natural electricity with wind power.
I could literally watch them "grow" at my way to university when they built a dozen of them next to the road.

Quite impressive to see the big parts been carried there with huge trucks. I always wondered how they will get the big parts on top.
Every day i came there again they were a little higher, in the meantime they are finished and in action. :D

Theres nothing that speaks better to me than people at airports all heading different directions in their lives.
so much emotion there too. :)

This makes me happy

A shame you cut off the bottom of that shack. Otherwise I also think it could be fun to try http://digital-photography-school.com/how-to-make-digital-photos-look-like-lomo-photography this with it. Its a cool shot.

i was really excited to go, but it kind of was a let down,
most of the animals werent out because they were giving birth? or just had babies.

so there wasnt much to see.

i dont think so, it looked almost like a junkyard. >.<

its sad really.

at the gates where family hug and say goodbye and people crying. :(

the airport itself is huge! theres like 4 terminals! probably because its a international airport.

but one annoying thing was they kepted advertising the next olympics after london to be in chicago and they were saying it was the home of the blah blah year olympics when they didnt even decide yet, and it was every 5 minutes.

ouch. In Pearson Toronto Airport they have the arrivals/international arrivals almost right next to each other. I was waiting for someone to get back from a summer trip to Kenya for 4 hours and it was filled with hugs and joyous tears.

Its one of those places where emotion riddles the walls but is very taboo to bring a camera and shoot strangers.

Also, instant beatdown of the photographer would occur.
