I finally had some time to experiment with my new reflex camera.
There waterfalls have been my first subject to run some tests on different f/stops and exposure time.
I decieded to make it look as smooth as possible, and went for a long exposure with a very little open shutter.
I probably had to wait for evening, with less direct sun to avoid overexposed areas. Anyway, here are my results.
Please give me as many hints as you can, and point out my major mistakes.
I'm really hungry for suggestions and comments!

This is excellent Alpi!!
You used a perfect shutter speed to achieve the perfect exposure in the waterfall!
The background is not over exposed, and the waterfall looks very smooth and silky.

Personally, I think a slight bit more contrast into this shot would go quite far, and would make this stellar shot even more exceptional!

That first one is great! I like the composition best on the first than the others. I guess the only advice I could give is to try a unique composition; not one that everyone would choose if they were to take that same picture. Try it! :) The settings you chose are perfect :D

Time to add another one, taken in a completely different location.
A cloud passed by just when I was taking the shot, I think that helped me avoid the over exposure.
