Okay so it's not really alcohol to be honest.
It's actually nail polish remover.
I don't drink so I had no real alcohol to use haha.
I also ended up breaking the shot glass from leaving the fire burning to long and then pouring it out, Woopsy!

This is my first time attempting this type of photography; I normally stick to macros. :D
LMK what you think and I would really appreciate some tips to make this kind of shot better.

Kinda reminds me of last week with sambuca shots, except the color of the flame :P

I really like the 3rd one, looks cool!

Also great to see something different :D

Yah I'm pretty sure he was the one who inspired me to do this.
I remembered seeing something like this so I decided to try :D

i expirenced that its isier to take photos of bigger fires that of small ones

a bit longer shuttertime is also usefull imo

next time fire a saladbowl insted of a jigger ?

Nice photos, for different colored flames use different colors in the liquid, 50/50 Vodka usually burns blue, dunno about much more then that. Also, try a slower or faster shutter speed, faster will give more sharp flames and a slower will make it look larger and blurred.

y true ... remember chemnics:P

burn diffrent minerals to get collor in the flames ... sth like cupper or simply salt
