Heres a quick guide i made for cropping in gimp (a free image editor for those that are against piracy or can't afford to spend $1000's on software for a hobby)

sorry the image i edited wasn't pretty just its not very nice outside and i didn't feel like looking for an old image to crop so i just took a photo of my skateboard on my bed

ok so if step 3 isn't clear kinda merged it with step 4 once you got the area you want to crop selected . you press crop selection found in the images menu.
if anything is unclear please let me know and i will try and clear it up for you

This is cool, however I do not use GIMP. I think Marie would enjoy this tutorial along with more!

I think I could have cropped it a LOT more, I can't believe how sharp and clear I got that bee!!!
I'm really happy with it!

i'm not totally experienced but i can make tutes for any basics i guess just tell me if u need or want to see something and i'll try it for u (i wanna get my guide making a bit neater)

i've got but some users don't use photoshop and this is a free alternative
