wow that snake was really weaving itself into the fence thing

#8 is a bit problematic because the wrong part is sharp

Lol yeah, it was pretty neat.
The first shot [the close up one] I was like 3-5 inches away from it, and I could see it's heart [or something] start beating pretty hard so I stopped getting so close.
Wasn't really worried about being bit since it's mouth was relatively small and they aren't poisonous, but I'm hoping it'll keep coming back so I can take more photos



I did #8 on purpose.
I figured it wouldn't really look right to people, but I tried it so that the focus was on the dead flower but you could see the snake in the background.
Idk thought it might look cool.
I tried both ways though, #7 and #8

for number eight u should blur'd the flower in stead and focus on snake since that was the real concept

I did do that, that's #7.
I just tried a "reverse" or "indirect" look at the snake by having the focus on the flower.
Thought it'd be cool to see the snake in the background idk.
But #7 is where I focused the snake instead of the flower.

Yeah I was thinking of cropping #2 as well, but thought i'd post un-editted pictures here and see what people thought I should do.

I live in the eastern US, in Virginia.
Not sure about west, but that's what Garter snakes look like around here.
I'll try googling a picture of a eastern one later, but I'm about to leave
