I'm on night shift..
So I was sleeping and woke up around noon... looked out my bedroom window, and could see a dragonfly fly around the pond...
So ofc I ran downstairs and grabbed my camera...
I took about 20 pictures and half of them were great (imo ofc ;) )
Sometimes I had to be leaning above the water, holding the camera with my right hand, and holding myself on big plants so I don't fall in the water...
I am really happy with the results!!!

I only slept 4.5 hours today and now I'm working 12 hours.... blah...

Cool! ^_^ The dragonflies here move around so much it's hard to catch them.

This one is definitely better than the other one! The sun isn't shining on it so much and it is nice and clear :)

Thanks!!
Now I wanna try some selective coloring on it....
That would be my first try...
I'l look at the GIMP tutorial and attempt to understand it..
Wish me luck!

I know, that's why I didn't ask like what lens, doesn't your camera tell you what optical or digital zoom you are at?

My A710 IS does anyway.

Hmmm.. not sure which is which...
But with wide settings, I only can access the first zoom, not the other one that decreases the quality... and that first zoom was maxed...

Ok.. now here is my first photo editing ever done in my whole life...
It's not perfect and it took me over one hour (well, not full time cause I'm at work ) ....
But the tutorials on the GIMP website are no use for me..
I had to find one on youtube.....
