Si, I haven't any money left really, looking to get a 75-300mm 4.5-5.6 or maybe a 50mm 1.8 sometime in the next few months if I can manage to get a few hundred dollars..

Oh I really like the first picture!!
The spotlight is right on the flower and all the attention goes there!

Your picture #4 has an asian style to it, the colors and composition :)

Yea, I need to use the flash more often when taking flowers, it really seems to help and draw attention to the subject.

The middle one from the first post is my favourite. The focus is very good, color of the flower is quite amazing, what focuses even more on it. In addition the sunlight on it. I guess you shot it at sunset, didn`t you? It makes it look stunning ;)
