thought i'd put another 'photomanipulation' up... this consisting of the main subject (picture of the old lady) then using loads of other pictures to create texture, cracking walls, compass, wallpaper with flowers etc

Naw x3 People around here aren't too fond of editing pictures and photo manips Shame really. I care for both >:3 Or in fact any art that floats your boat is cool with me ;D

Looks like there is a lot of work involved and the result looks very professional, but for my taste, I think it looks kind of creepy....
I usually do not post when I have nothing positive or constructive to say, so maybe people feel the same or are not sure how to apreciate your work...

This one for exemple, I love the texture and colors, but the subject looks like it has blood on its face and look like it's not very alive (as in .. dead...).
And the other photo manipulation with the ant head.... was also too creepy for old me....

I would love to see something more peaceful and happy ..
Like for this one, if you had a sail boat (just an idea) instead of the.... cadaver (lol sorry that's what I see when I look at it) then I would be all oooooh and aaaaah!!!

But, as I said... it's just a question of taste, cause your work is really awesome

There is alot of work involved most of the images i upload are for my uni shows ... i studied photography for 4 years at college (in england) and then moved on to graphic design, which is what im studying now...
I suppose thats why alot of my images are messed about with. I do agree with you, its creepy, not even i know if its supposed to be alive or dead ^^

I have some nice pretty shots that il upload for you guys, maybe this is a bit too much... which is understandable, as i like to look at sunsets/landscapes as much as the next person.

Yep, its allll about taste, and i respect that you commented even though you may not like it that much, so thanks i dont mind people being constructive though, just as long as its not 'this is rubbish' ... with no addition to what they dont like lol.

I guess for me I don't really understand photo manipulations and I think they are too fake. That would be the reason I don't like them - but I don't mind looking at them and commenting It looks as if something you'd see on the front of a book.

Would be great as like the back of an album or something, however, I think it's a bit too busy on it's own.

it is, and seems to have no focal point since the person is completely blended in with the map.
