This was kinda an interesting story. I was out by a river and small waterfall looking for a nice angle to get a picture. I saw a bird tied by to a tree with fishing wire. (Circled on the right hand side)


I got up a bit closer to see what was going on and saw that the wire was wrapped around it's neck.



The thing was trying to fly around but like a dog on a leash, kept going in circles.
I went out into the middle of the stream and used my tripod to pull the branch down closer to me and used a knife to cut the thing down. As soon as I cut it down, it flew away and seemed alright.


Just a cool story, hopefully I get some +Karma for that or something

probably ate the bait on the other end of the fishing line or thats my bet
