I'm not huge on event photography but it'd definitely be something fun to do over the summer if I do get a job.

No money, but they pay for your club entry, possibly travel expenses too and it allows you to add something to both your portfolio and CV.
Also, they provide special training events.

That's awesome; congrats!

I can't see myself going to events and taking photos at them (but i guess it depends on the event)... for some reason I'm more of a "want to be alone" photographer, or maybe have someone with me while I'm on my journey, but I tend to go away from public places for some reason...

thats still awesome, eventually i want to break away from spending too much time figuring out the correct composition of the picture and shoot quickly but still with good quality.

I'm going to stick to doing it at clubs I wouldn't normally frequent, that way I know that I won't give a shit about the music, and I won't give a fuck about the dumb fucks I'm going to have to photograph, as a general rule, I fucking hate taking photos of people, sometimes it's ok, when the person doesn't pose, but otherwise, I generally want to strangely everyone.

Obviously the interview went well earlier and I've got the job, also, a few hundred business cards :\

No pay, but I get put on the guest list for clubs with a +1, and every week there's a £50 prize for the best photo, and £100 monthly for the photographer that's been to the most shows.

Well, when there's a club night on with music I really like I want to dance, I don't really want to be going around having to photograph people. Admitedlly I don't see myself spending more than an hour taking photos, rest of the the time I'll be having fun.
