Yeah, this is what I did today... Hiked up a cliff to a waterfall... Its a double cataract fall that is about 607 ft tall... It has some sort of weird ghost story type legend concerning the name, but I don't fully know it, otherwise I'd share...

1. This was the view from the bottom...

And now we start the scary hike up. We literally were hiking up a cliff... So i took a couple shots of what the trail looked like... These were taken at eye level, trying to show how much it really climbed...

2.

3.

4.

5. Look, this part of the trail got taken out by a mudslide... Yay!

6. View from the top (of the lower fall.) Needed a polarizer, the sky was pretty ugly... Didn't help that I overexposed...

7. I really loved the lighting when I snapped this one... Too bad I overexposed like crazy...

8. Hehe, funny sign...

9. Silly girlfriend not obeying the sign...

10. On the way back down the cliff. Yeah, she almost fell and died...

Haha very amusing series of photos!

The first one is nice... but the other ones of the paths don't really have anything .. (in my eyes anyway).

#6 is cool - now the mist is coming off of the water there. Did it spray on you at all?

Yeah those are fun - definitely some ankle twisters in those paths, haha ;). Looks like you enjoyed the journey, anyway. I have to travel quite a ways to even get to that kind of scenery.

It was quite a drive to be honest. We had to make a day of it cause it took up quite a bit of time. Very enjoyable though, figured I'd share it the way I experienced it. The only thing that wasn't fun was the hike up haha...

LMAO! The two pics of that funny sign are epic ^^ and I think you should make a FTP signature of the one of that woman standing beside that sign lol.
I don't think I have ever seen a real waterfall in my life and it looks really cool. You know what you should have done? Use a slow shutterspeed and get some really amazing water motionblur shots :)

I really like the light. When I saw the first shot I was really hoping you got some closer shots of it lol.
Then I was happy to see you did ^_^ They are excellent.

Ps: you're girlfriend is beautiful. I wish I knew people my age that liked hiking and doing fun stuff like that...

I thought the sign was so hilarious. All I did was say her name and she turned around like that and said WHAT!?!? It was great... I tried getting some motion blur, but it was way to bright... The slowest I could get my shutter down to was 1/250 with the aperture all the way closed... I just didn't like the way it turned out... I'm thinking about going again early morning or late evening so I can get less lighting... Problem is I dunno if I wanna make that hike in less lighting :P

Well thank you. She is actually the one who kinda got me into photography ^_^

But, I still am seriously disappointed that I overexposed...
