I found this photo in the archives today, from way back before I had lightroom or knew how to fix white balance. Before the post processing the snow was all a very dark blue color!
I fixed it up a bit, played around with a bit of Sepia, B&W and decided I really like the turnout of it ^_^

PS: 4000+ Flickr Gallery Accumulated views!!! Thanks so much!!

Not sure if I posted this one here either, since I took it when my computer crashed a few weeks ago and had it on my backup HD:

You have posted the 2nd one not to long ago, or maybe I saw it on your flickr account, I can't remember. The first one is really nice, except for the band of dark area running through the middle, I don't know what it is but it ruins the picture for me.

Can't really notice it, but they are the fence.

Yeah, I had the 2nd on my Flickr, but I don't think anywhere else.

Nice.

you've posted the second here before, you say its in your top 5 favourite photos! The lion one looks ok but there is two shadows which would have looked better not being there.

I like the shot, how you got the lion licking that rock?

That's the first thing I saw too, were the two shadows from the fence, I thought maybe it was something else that appeared when you edited the photo - hehe.

I believe he placed a rather tasty substance there for the tiger to consume... or he just released the shutter at the right time! :P

PSST! Its a tiger!

Lion

Tiger

See the differences?

As for what it's licking, it's just the snow on the rocks I'm pretty sure.

I really like the shot of that lion. It's really amazing.

@Kratos: obviously you have never seen a Canadian lion before :p

imo the tiger shot is too much edited and i dont like that tail cutting off like that at all. Gorilla shot is ok, but would make really good if you would edit it a bit

I only applied Sepia, then a bit of selective erasing to the Bengal Tiger ^_^
Thanks ^_^

I know, the bars are hard. But when you think about it, I was standing about a foot away from the cage. ^_^
