Wireless flash setup to the right of bike bounced off umbrella, triggered using Cactus V2s.

Not too bad. The light is everything in it and makes it attractive to the eye.

The lighting is definitely good.
However, the framing is poor.
I don't like how you have a part of the bike cropped at the top but not from the bottom - it destroys the eye's flow from the top to the bottom of the image.
You should instead have it either cropped at the top and bottom, or nowhere.
Other than that, nice shot.

Bike product photography is more aimed at the wheels and front fork.
Unless a rider is on the bike, then it is focused more for the emotion of the rider. ^_^

The lighting is great on this, however...

I could have probably got a bit higher up from the ground to keep the ground in the shot and get the top handlebar that's cropped.
Thanks ^_^

This is the first Strobist shot I've ever done. It's pretty difficult because everything is the complete opposite of what you would normally shoot.

Eg. In a bridge sunny day situation, you need a very very fast shutter speed to compensate for the extra light from the flash.

...
Where to start o.O

I think is it a okay picture, definitely could be better with a better equipment (Eg. image quality, and light)
Also, you cut off the top of the staring wheel.

Wtf?
There is no rule of thirds, nothing that captures attention and draws people in.

I like the colours.. but the picture seems too "cropped" for me, I would like to see the whole bike + shadow... it just doesn't seem complete to me, sry =)
