Where to start o.O

Firstly, WAY over sized. Learn to scale so I don't have to scroll. (Especially horizontally wtf)
I think the 1st one is ok, definitely could be better with a better camera (Eg. image quality)
Also, you cut off the top of the cross on the first building.

And second photo...is it a landfill?
Wtf?
There is no rule of thirds, nothing that captures attention and draws people in, and no focal point.

When learning to take pictures, I find it always better to have an appealing subject....
And vouch about the oversized pictures...

Where are they from ? :)

But I think the pictures is okay, not pro, but I think it is not the thing you want to show?

If I have to say something you can improve:
- Try not to make them overexposed.
- Find a different angle
- Try to isolate the thing you want to show.
- Try to edit them a bit before posting.

But try to post some more when you have read these things. :)

Keep up the work!

I don't see how it's over exposed, but I agree with the rest.

If i was new to the photography forum i wouldn't want to be talked to like that, especially if i didn't know to scale down pictures when posting here.
Use Ctrl+- to zoom out.

Anyway, #1 I agree with what others have said.
#2 If i needed a picture for a job, like to show someone what had happened then this picture would be good, because it shows well all parts of the debris. But if i wanted a picture to show to my friends and family i would have maybe found a subject (the main aspect of the picture) and captured that instead to get people interested.

Hope this helps, and don't be shy to ask any questions on how to improve your work.
