Do the same as you did in the pics you posted but involve your subject, which will stay still but you will still have the trailing effect on the lights.

The C1-3 is where the camera remembers your settings for quick access. Lets say you go for a walk. You would maybe want C1 set with a small aperture to get lots in focus and C2 with a fast shutterspeed in case you saw some wildlife. .

Av is where you select how much light the camera lets through the lens, and the camera will select the shutterspeed required to make your photo of a correct exposure

yeh its in built in flash function settings, just look for 1st curtain and change to 2nd :)

what about Tv,P,CA

Ok. firstly:

'P' is program mode it is fully automatic (the camera selects shutterspeed and aperture) but in P mode you can tweak lots of settings. If you ever get confused with the other modes, just switch to 'P' and ull be fine

'Tv' stands for time value, its the opposite of 'Av' so instead of selecting the aperture, you select the shutterspeed.

'CA' is creative auto and it explains stuff, so there is no technical terms. Like instead of shallow dof it says 'blur backround' and stuff like this.



you can use 2nd curtain with Av, becuase you proberbly wanna use a small aperture anyway :)
