Well I do admit that I have taken several pictures of the same area before but I just couldn't resist not taking picture of it again earlier because of this huge moon lol. I was only outside for 5 minutes to take those pictures because it was freaking cold sad.gif.

1. I tried to underexpose this picture but it was still not enough to get a clear shot of the moon. I wonder if there is a filter that got like darkened upper part so both the moon and the landscape would be properly exposed lol.

Long shutter speeds aren't good for moon shots you know...
It makes it look over exposed with NO detail at all.

try with a slower shutter speed and higher Fstop to get::

DETAIL!

..... that confuses me, cause you said longer shutter speeds aren't good for moon shots, but then you said use a slower shutter speed???? Same thing....

Well either he doesn't understand what I was trying to explain about the overexposed moon or he thinks he could have get a proper exposure on the cityscape AND the moon in one picture.
The higher Fstop would have helped but wouldn't it make the rest of the picture all black or extremely underexposed?
