Personally I think organizing and naming the pictures in numbers and looking at the thumbnails are quite enough but of course later on I may will create one catalog for each year or one for each season especially the summers when I most likely would take a lot of pictures lol.
i'm a student i can't afford to pay for software, i might look into making some crude app if i get the time and a friend to run me through some basic things in c++ , cause i reckon it would be easy enough to have a basic program for this , i'm going drinking with a friend tonight who codes a lot i might ask him what he thinks about coding it,

seems to be a decent free option might look into it when i get home just dling it now and will xfer it to my computer @ home via usb memory stick
