The sky looks great, as usual with HDR's but I'm really not keen on the foreground, the colours don't look great, and just overall, the landscape is quite uninteresting.

I must agree with veilside, the sky is very pretty but the landscape is not very interesting.

Well this is the only landscape(in this sized) available in like 500km radius from here, about whole finland looks like this from air, but lakes and fields coming instead of buildings when u go more to countryside. Allso cant do enything about the white shit thats covering the foreground, making it look unintresting sad.gif . So i tried to make the sky look beutifull and make the landscapes/foregrounds tones match the color of the light thats coming from the sky. What should the colors look like that it would look better?

Only thing naturally beutifull in winter here is the sky and it only shows for few hours, everything else is just dead and covered with this shit dry.gif (i hate winter more than enything for these and thousands of other reasons). Allso this was the first time in atleast a week when the sky was showing up behind the clouds. I cant wait for summer again..

Snow's very beautiful if you capture it right, maybe you're just looking in the wrong places?

I just mean snowy landscapes, they can look great, you just need to find an interesting landscape to capture.

Yea and i told all landscapes look the same, because about whole southern finland is covered with woods. Do you really think that the landscape is so important on a pic thats concentrating more on the skyscape?

You didnt tell me what colors it should have intead of the ones you think dont look good.

Well, the landscape is important if it's part of the photo, if you just want to take a photo of the sky don't bother putting any part of the ground in it. Every single part of the photo is important, you should put things in the frame if they clash with everything else (unless you want them to clash).

The ground just looks a little orange cast, it definitely doesn't look as white as it should.
