I live in NY, and where I live there is an old fort that still stands. Here some picture of it, and the water that surrounds it.

My favorite is the sunset posted above^^
The only thing I would change would definitely be the detail in the sail boats.

Not so sharp, Moved your camera while you were taking the picture, because of the slow shutterspeed in the evening with low light. A tripod works in that kind of situations
