I took some pictures when I couldn't sleep a while back...

Holy shit, it was like prolly negative -15 Celsius w/ windchill and I just wore a t shirt, I only managed to take one picture I wasn't totally ashamed of.

Seems like every post you make you say "i suck"

you should try going outside and taking pics(not just outside your house), or find better things to photograph inside, XD.

White Balance seems somewhat off

Nobody "sucks." at Photography. You either have the eye or do not.
Some may see thing's better than others, and the ones that can't just need to train their eyes.

I did, but it was awfully cold and I ended up only taking the one... Well, I took a lot, but they were all bad.

I like the first one from each post, but the others seem either over or under exposed.
And I agree with oOFearOo, go outside sometime!

There are a few decent shallow depth of field shots especially the first one.

I like the 4. the most!
I think your photos are good!
Try make more of that, I like your style.

there is nothing wrong with the pictures you have taken. boring - yes. but are they spoiled shots - no.
