He's around 5 I think. Dont have many more atm but I'm sure I'll get more.

Is he your cat? I mean unless you hate it you really should take some pics of him because cats are so unpredictable and random and if you are lucky you could probably take some funny and/or cute photos of them

Drag up the shutter speed and you're set? @the picture, it's nice however I don't really like pictures that are THAT blown up. Unless ofcourse it's a macro of some kind (however that's probably just me). As for the lighting, I'd really tone down the red or maybe just desaturated to a more natural hue. Keep snapping!

edit: Actually, I must say you did a really good job considering what camera you used I've used tonnes of coolpixes throughout the years and have found them to be quite hopeless

Yeah only so much you can do with a point and shoot. Eventually I'll buy a Rebel but until then this will do.
