FUCK!!
So, I've been dreading going to the Dentist today for 3 fillings in cavities.
Well, I get to the dentist. (My dentist is also the owner of his office)

Anyways, recently at the dentist me and him have talked about photography etc.
He told me he was switching from his Canon 300d (The older canon cameras) to Sony.

Anyways, he surprises me today with a Christmas present when I came.
Over $1000 worth of camera gear he gave me-FREE (As a Christmas present)

I think I literally pissed my pants at the Dentist office.

Got a 300d body. (Going to my dad)
3 lenses:
18-55mm kit
100-200mm
28mm prime.
battery grip w/ 2 batteries

Canon 420EX flash I was so excited to see a flash! Like, omg I'm so happy right now!!
Just though I'd tell you all haha.

Hey about the battery grip, I am wanting one of these, but I don't get them lol.

Do they hold an extra battery as well as able to use it for vertically holding your camera?

Yes to both
It pretty much holds 2 batteries instead of 1 in your camera, and also acts as vertical grip.
I don't have much use for any of it except the flash and 28mm. So I'm giving it all to my dad who likes photography too.

Well, I've been seeing this dentist for the past 9 years and my family has a good relationship with him.
He's really cool.

nais, thats pretty avesome lens for a crop camera like yours, iv had that lens for quite long time, but now that i got different crop factor im not so keen to it
