By January 15th/2009 I will have added to my collection:Manfrotto tripod w/ 'Joystick Head'
Wireless shutter release
580EX II
2 pocket wizards, or 2 cactus triggers, or something to trigger off camera flash.
whoa, a pocket wizard costs like 150$ per transmitter/receiver!
As for the manfrotto tripod, it'd be like 200 for the tripod and 200 for the joystick head o.O I've been delaying that purchase for a lononng time haha.
I'd definitely recommend starting off with the cactus. I quote: "its not like you're going to be lighting a flash in one helicopter shot from another helicopter or setting up a 30 second shoot to take a portrait of a CEO for the cover of a fortune 500 magazine" u can deal with the 90% reliability and limitations of 30 feet between flashes IMHO.
Flash is deff YES
wireless shutter release... *meh* unless u do self portraits it really isnt needed. Timer could do nightscapes just as well... methinks.
nice nice.
IM THE ONLY NIKON GUY HERE!
