Please post your pics of rainbow (no photoshop please) and tell me how you get them with nice colors, not too faded out...

-.- no offense but cellphones are not cameras...
anyway lol here are two pics I took with my old point and shoot camera course I haven't had the chance to take any rainbow photos with my new DSLR, yet

I think you have use the "right" settings AND the most important a decent camera to take good rainbow photos

It happened to be at around sunset and of course, after a storm ... is how I got this one:

I didn't do anything with photoshop except the border and the signature on these.

Here's what it looked like if you looked behind you, from that rainbow picture. It was a little after the rainbow disappeared, and the sun was setting even more.

The pictures up there that I posted I used a Canon Powershot A410. It's not really the camera, it's the person behind it smile.gif. I am sure you can get technical when it comes to rainbow pictures (but really, those are for the pros) I think if you get the right composition you should be alright. It depends on how strong the rainbow really is to grasp a really good clear shot of it, too.

Oh ok ^^ yeah, then cell phones are nice to have if you don't have your big bulky camera hanging around - lol.
