Error 99 - http://www.richardsnotes.org/archive...ontact-points/ I've already checked out what it could be. It's the camera. I switched lenses, I still get the same error. For a while it wouldn't let me take any photos. It STILL works now - after I shook it - whatever that was about - I don't have a clue - but I got it working - but I still think there's something wrong.

Pictures to prove it was not working properly. If you see the top of the photo, it's what it's SUPPOSE to look like. The bottom is all over exposed, and yes, I did use correct settings.

Maybe someone around here has some ideas, but I think the shutter is screwed.

thats weird... the shutter should stand like 20000+ exposures or whatever
It should be covered by warranty. Have you called the store where you bought it from?
well I just went to a Canon repair shop earlier today with my camera and they told me it'll take two freaking weeks to fix it
so I guess ill be without a decent camera for two weeks... its really frustrating! and I am sure you are feeling pretty much the same

btw I just saw that it happened like a month ago
why haven't you fixed it yet? sorry if im asking too much here jc

There's too many events going on right now that I don't not want to have a camera. It still works - but it's only a matter of time I'm sure. I'm sending it away in the fall.

oh ok. sorry to hear that. well I didn't plan on getting a new camera until later this year but I guess I couldn't wait course I just wanted to have something to do during last week when I had the whole week off so I can take my mind of things course there are a lot of events going on here as well. sigh! heh I guess life is just full of surprises :-\ I sincerely hope things will work out for you and you will have your camera fixed soon and you will upload more photos in the future because believe me you really do have talent when it comes to photography

ok just want to get this clear. you meant that there are too many things going on now that you do not want to be without your camera right? lol sorry for the misunderstanding. thats what happens when you are tired hope you'll understand.

sigh I just couldn't running around with totally broken main LCD screen on my camera, well sure the viewfinder and the smaller LCD still worked but it would be hard to change settings like WB which I change quite often. heh the next ten days will be pain in the butt for me because we are having this incredibly nice weather lately and it seems to last for awhile! plus lmao I want to take some pics at the gay parade this weekend it just seems fun to take photos of a bunch of men dressed as women and with make up and all that ^^

Haha - yeah, that's what I meant. I am a picture freak so I want to get every picture when things happen. There is always another day for a picture - trust me, so don't feel so bad you didn't get that pretty sunset - there are many other opportunities.

lol yeah same here! I mean everytime I see something I wanna take pic of and I didnt have a camera with me I would feel bad but I guess you are right lol theres plenty of opportunities later its not like the world is going to end tomorrow lmao well the gay parade here only happens once a year so I'll have to wait another year but I may will take some photos with my old crappy camera.

btw what lenses are you using for your camera? still the 18-55 kit lens or have you bought a new one? I kinda like mine because of the wide angle but the downside is the weight lol think it weighs more than twice compared to your lens

anyway about my previous posts well I actually did think that you didn't want a camera anymore which I found really weird thats why the uh message

For me photography has become some kind of a savior in a time when I seem to have lost everything, everyone I cared about is either not alive anymore or just vanished. So this is an old hobby
of mine that became even more important because it helped me to move on and wanting to look forward.

anyway lmao its kinda weird posting personal stuff here but I doubt any of those kids know much about life anyway lol
